We love chicken wings! Spicy, sweet, Buffalo, Asian, fried, baked, roasted… In this recipe we combine two of our favorites flavors to create a mouth-watering marinade in which we roast our wings in the oven. We start with a sweet and savory Mediterranean base of black olives and authentic Italian Balsamic Glaze, and we add soy sauce and sesame oil. The result is reminiscent of a Teriyaki sauce, but with definite Mediterranean appeal.
-12 chicken wings
-1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
-1 tbsp. Organic Sweet Black Olive Spread
-4 tbsp. Classic Balsamic Glaze
-3 tbsp. soy sauce
-2 tsp. sesame oil
-Mixed sesame seeds for decoration
-Preheat oven to 400ºF
-Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl except for the chicken wings
-When well blended, add the wings and marinade 10 minutes or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator
-Transfer wings to a baking pan and bake in oven 20 minutes. Finish under the broiler for desired crispiness.
-Serve hot and decorate with black and white sesame seeds
