How we experience the Super Bowl in Barcelona
The Super Bowl is synonymous with entertainment, television, and food. And in Barcelona it’s no different. There are quite a few Americans in Barcelona who follow the big game, but it’s not only a big draw for those who grew up watching it, but also for many locals who want to experience the excitement of the sporting event of the year, despite the game starting after midnight on a Sunday!
Many small bars and pubs in Barcelona show the game live and offer menus of imported American beer and typical American snack food, for an authentic American experience.
We look for the foodie aspect in every celebration, and the Super Bowl is no exception. It is the perfect event to showcase delicious, fun dishes to share with family, friends, and fans.
Ricky, as a New Yorker, soul and chef of Delicious & Sons, and a huge football fan, will cook some traditional recipes as he waits excitingly for the big game.
