Thanksgiving in the Mediterranean
Thanksgiving is probably our favorite tradition to celebrate. Long before we had our own food company we loved nothing more than to get family and friends together around a typical Thanksgiving meal and enjoy the days beforehand cooking with the family.
The story tells that it all began as a way to give thanks for the harvest. And more and more we reflect on our gratitude: one of those simple little actions that seem to have fallen into disuse and it is so powerful for those that put it into practice. Gratitude is something we need to instill in our little ones, we need to have have fun putting it into practice and feel it. Something so simple that without a doubt helps us feel better and to the person to whom we are offering it.
And simplicity: Thanksgiving meals are simple and delicious, a way to unite and enjoy one’s company with happiness and ease. So it is important to choose with whom you want to spend the holiday year after year.
We will cook the traditional dishes we ate when we lived in New York, but of course we give them a Delicious & Sons twist, to put our stamp on the holiday. Also we keep in mind that at our table our friends and family come from all over, and have different dietary preferences, so all of our dishes are vegan except for the turkey of course, and we will make a sugarless dessert as well for guilt free eating.
